Some quality self-deprecating humour from the Championship outfit.
Charlton Athletic FC played a goalless first half against Cardiff City in the Championship in a match that might actually be a genuine cure for insomnia. The standard of the football was so poor that Charlton had a wee dig at themselves through their Twitter account.
Rather than hype it up with hyperbole or oversell it, whoever runs the club’s official Twitter account simply told it like it was.

However, rather than throw their team under the bus completely they did send a second tweet during th interval that was a lot more supportive of their side’s efforts.
