After all, with some tickets at Anfield set to cost £77 next season, some fans may be forced to take similar enterprising methods to pay for a seat to watch Liverpool.
However, it’s ironic that on the day around 10,000 Liverpool fans left the stadium early in protest against ticket prices, this chancer showed up to offer them the chance to be pictured with a fake League Cup trophy.
Liverpool fans must be feeling it’s difficult to not be ripped off on matchdays.
If anyone did get their photo taken with the trophy, it has the potential to be doubly embarrassing should Liverpool lose the final to Manchester City on February 28th.
