Coming soon to a cinema near you… Carlo Ancelotti?
It’s an exciting time for the Italian coach. Not only is he set to take over Bayern Munich following Pep Guardiola’s move to Manchester City, but he’s also set for the bright lights of Hollywood.
Ancelotti revealed to Sky Sports that he is set to make his acting debut in the the forthcoming film Star Trek Beyond, the third installment of the box office smash hit franchise based on the TV show.
“The husband of actress Zoe Saldana [who will play ‘Uhura’ in the move] is Italian and I have a good relationship with the family. They were in Vancouver to film the movie and they asked me to come and watch.”
“I went, spoke to the director [Justin Lin] and he said ‘I’ll put you in – small part’.”
