Balotelli, Januzai and Ings all in our Sunday transfer round-up

Our transfer gossip goes great with a Sunday roast

Clearly Roberto Mancini does not have enough drama in his life after taking over at Inter Milan.

He’s looking to add some firepower upfront for the Serie A side and is hoping his old mate Mario Balotelli will rejoin his former club.

The Italian has been a disaster on-and-off the pitch for Liverpool and he may prefer to be back under the wing of Mancini, who managed to at least get the odd decent performance out of the striker in between bouts of arguing with him and training ground fights. (Daily Star Sunday)

Balotelli

Louis van Gaal is doing a bit of cleaning for the Christmas time at Manchester United and it appears that Adnan Januzaj is about to be shipped out of the club,at least temporarily.

The Belgian, who was one of the few bright spots in David Moyes reign at Old Trafford last season, is set to be reunited with the Scot at Real Sociedad.

The 19-year old has been frozen out by van Gaal this year because of the other incredible other attacking options, and Moyes would relish working with a player he already knows well.

Not sure if that feeling is mutual mind.(Express)

Manchester United v Crystal Palace - Premier League

Frank Lampard’s missus might not be too happy to hear that’s he going to be staying in sunny Manchester for a while longer as his deal with Premier league chamions City is set to be extended.

The man known affectionately as ‘Fat’ for the massive size of his wallet rather than his belly we’re guessing, is now set to play on until March after his initial loan deal from New York City FC was only until January.

City appear to have a mounting injury crisis and Manuel Pellegrini is anxious to hang onto the experienced and still hungry(*cough*) ex-Chelsea man(Sunday Mirror)

Leicester City v Manchester City - Premier League

Danny Ings might have to start learning a bit of Dutch as he’s linked to Ajax this morning.

The 22 year old Burnley striker is out of contract in the summer and the Premier League strugglers are resigned to losing the 22 year old.

He’s been probably the best Burnley player so far this season and appears to be coming into some form.

Dennis Bergkamp is part of the backroom staff at Ajax and must see something of his own silkly skills in Ings to suggest he’ll be heading to Amsterdam in the near future.(Sunday People)

Burnley v Everton - Premier League

Everyone’s favourte Pokemon, I mean footballer, Michu, is set to arrive back to the Premier League.

The Spaniard had a fantastic first season in England but struggled badly last season and is currently on loan at Napoli under Rafa Benitez.

But Crystal Palace are sniffing about and Neil Warnock has taken a right fancy to the 28-year old, who could move London to help them in their battle against the drop. (Mail on Sunday)
