It looks like Arsenal are set to splash the cash this summer.

During the week it was announced that Arsene Wenger signed a two-year deal with the club and if rumours are true he is making a statement of attempt in his new job.

The Sunday Express are reporting that the club is set to bid £95m for Monaco star Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe rose to prominence after being one of the shining stars for his side as Monaco reached the Champions League semi-final and has attracted interest from top teams such as Manchester City and Real Madrid.

And Wenger is keen to build a side around Mbappe according to reports.

Mbappe recently came out saying that he would only move to a side that would offer him regular playing time as he needs to develop as a player which could make Arsenal an attractive destination.

However, the Gunners cannot offer Champions League football whereas Monaco can but he could be tempted to leave after the recent departure of Bernardo Silva to Manchester City.

At just 18 years of age, Mbappe made his international debut for France early in the year and netted 15 league goals this season for Monaco.
