Robert Pires, who scored 14 goals from the wing when Arsenal were unbeaten Premier League champions in 2004, wants the club to move for Southampton’s Victor Wanyama.
“He is a very good ambassador for Kenya and he has shown that there is a lot of talent in the country,” the Frenchman told reporters in the African country, according to the Daily Nation.
“I have watched him play many times and, like all other African footballers, I wish him well.
“Play for Arsenal? Why not! He has the speed, skill and physique. I however think he needs to score more goals because then he will be world-class material,”
