Arsenal and Chelsea will play a friendly in Ireland this summer

Robert Redmond

Arsenal and Chelsea will play a pre-season friendly in Dublin later this summer.

The Premier League clubs will meet at the Aviva Stadium on Wednesday, August 1. The match will be part of the International Champions Cup pre-season tournament.

Liverpool and Napoli will also play at the Aviva as part of their pre-season preparations (on Saturday, August 4).

New Arsenal manager Unai Emery will be in the dugout, and it is unclear if Antonio Conte will still be Chelsea boss by the time they visit Ireland.

Former Arsenal player Ray Parlour, and ex-Chelsea striker Tore Andre Flo, were in Dublin on Wednesday to promote the friendly.
