No can do

There’s no Christmas spirit in Germany for Arsenal’s pursuit of the player of the season so far in the Bundesliga.

The Premier League leaders are desperate for some additional firepower to aid their title challenge, and have long been linked with bringing Javier Hernandez back to the Premier League.

The former Manchester United striker has been in sensational form this season for Bayer Leverkusen, netting 19 goals since his summer time move from Old Trafford.

He has been linked with various moves away from Germany, but it seems that his current employers have no interest in cashing in on their prized asset, and certainly not this month.

According to reports, the club’s sporting director Rudi Voller, has told all suitors to politely keep their cash in their pockets as their star striker is going nowhere

“It’s easy to reject offers when you are in a position you don’t need to sell. We will keep all the players we want to help us achieve our goals.”
