Andoni Iraola is naturally a sought-after manager. A Premier League debutant with the Cherries, he's transformed Bournemouth. From relegation survivors in their first campaign to a record points total, to 6th in the league this season, he's proved his worth in an instant.
Despite serious success on the South Coast, he recently announced that he would be departing for a new challenge in the new season, upon the expiry of his contract.
Yet to finalise his next club, The Telegraph recently reported that Manchester United would be interested. A move to his native Athletic Bilbao was also originally on the cards too, though Edin Terzic was eventually appointed instead.
He has also been heavily linked with the Chelsea role, with Blue Co looking for their next permanent manager in the summer following the departure of Liam Rosenior.
Despite the potential moves from other big Premier League sides, Spanish outlet El Chiringuito have reported that the Basque-born gaffer is close to a move to Crystal Palace.
Palace, the FA Cup holders, are losing their legend in Oliver Glasner. He's won major trophies in South London and is one game from a major European final, with Palace taking a healthy 3-1 advantage to Selhurst Park after winning comfortably at Shakhtar Donetsk.
This poses a serious possibility of Europa League football for Iraola next season, which would undoubtedly entice the free-to-move gaffer.
