Cleary was snapped up by the Reds in 2011 after impressing for Crumlin United but never established himself as a first team option under Brendan Rodgers or Jurgen Klopp and the club decided against renewing the underage international's contract this summer, despite the undeniable potential owned by the centre-half.
“He is very committed”, former Reds boss Rodgers said of Cleary.
