Adrian channels his inner karate kid with red card inducing crane kick

Was it a straight red?

We saw earlier this week what  can happen when your goalkeeper comes up for a corner at the end of a game.

It can sometimes result in wonderful goals.

But today we’ve also seen what can happen if your goalkeeper is Adrian and he’s got the delicate touch of a hammerhead shark.

The West Ham goalkeeper was coming up for a corner in today’s home 2-1 loss to Leicester City when he decided to kung-fu Jamie Vardy right in the chest.

The incident looked pretty bad in real time 

And there was no doubt that the referee saw it either
