Abou Diaby is poised to finally make his competitive debut for Marseille after a series of injury woes.

The former Arsenal man called time on his Premier League career in the summer, but a series of further setbacks mean the Coupe de France meeting with Trellisac will be his first appearance in 506 days. Five. Hundred. And. Six.

To put that into context, here are some things that have happened since the French international last took to the field, in Arsenal’s 2-1 Capital One Cup defeat at home to Southampton in September 2014.
