Achill Rovers have landed double-African Cup of Nations champion Joseph N’Do.

The former Cameroon international has featured in two World Cups with his country but Irish fans will know him best as one of the League of Ireland’s best imports.

N’Do played for St Patrick’s Athletic, Shelbourne, Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians but will be best remembered by the Irish for the four seasons of loyal service he gave to Sligo Rovers in which he won a league title, three FAI Cups, an EA Sports Cup and a Setanta Sports Cup. He was also named the PFAI Players’ Player of the Year while at Shelbourne in 2006.
