There’s good news all round for Irish golfers in the latest Official World Golf Rankings.
Pádraig Harrington has climbed over 100 places in the latest World Golf Rankings after his victory at the Indonesia Open.
The former world number three has clawed his way back up to 260th, jumping an incredible 131 places, after winning the event. It marked Harrington’s first win at a full field tournament in four years. His last being the Johor Open in 2010.
Rory McIlroy remains the man to beat at the top of the list in the latest update. Sweden’s Henrik Stenson and Australia’s Adam Scott are second and third respectively.
Graeme McDowell has stayed in 15th spot while Offaly native Shane Lowry moved up three places to 44th despite finishing in a disappointing 11th place in South Africa.
