As good as that try was, the aerial chicanery demonstrated by Crusaders’ Nemani Nadolo against the Auckland Blues, today, shades Shane Horgan for pure, wonderful skill.
Dan Carter punished the high pressing Blues with a lofted chip to the corner and his winger did the rest.
It was the high-flying highlight of a 34-11 Crusaders win over the woeful Blues.
Fans of the Horgan try may well argue that, given the context of the game, his score remains imperious.
They have a good point. Sure, while we’re all here, let us enjoy that super score from a great night in Croker.
