VIDEO: Russell Wilson breaks down crying after incredible Seahawks win

Packers fans were upset too

Real men know when it’s ok to shed a tear

We’ll admit that some sporting moments just bring a tear to the eye whether we want them to or not; Packie Bonner and Dave O’Leary in 1990,Katie Taylor winning the gold medal in 2012 and when we won the third-class sack race by a nose at the school’s sports day in 1998.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russel Wilson enjoyed his own emotional sporting rollercoaster last night as he had to wait until overtime to throw his only TD of the night. But what a throw it was.

Wilson had a bit of a nightmare as the Seahawks looked second best against the Green Bay Packers for most of the night.

They were down 19-7 with just minutes left when they managed to score 21 points in 5 of the most crazy minutes of NFL we’ve seen in along long time. Wilson’s throw to Jermaine Kearse and his game defining moment saw the Seattle side back in the Superbowl once again.

Speaking afterwards he was clearly very emotional after what had been a very tough night at the office for the champions:

The Seahawks will face the New England Patriots who hammered the Indianapolis Colts 45-7.
