Video: Great time lapse condenses how the Super Bowl half-time show happens into three minutes

The first minute is setup, the second is the show and the third covers the tidying up

Fantastic

It is really a marvel how well the NFL runs the Super Bowl half-time show. With just over 35 minutes to play with they erect one, or sometimes two stages, co-ordinate thousands of workers, stage a mini gig and dismantle it all again in time to let the game start again.

Just how they do it has been captured on this time-lapse video, with the show divided exactly into almost three one-minute chunks. One to set up, one to take place and one to take apart.

The only way this could be any better would be if we could see the two sharks…
