Bonus points for the hair

They say defence wins championships and it's plays like this that have seen the San Francisco Giants rack up three World Series titles in the last five years. Leading Pittsburgh 2-0 with the bases loaded in the third inning, star hitter Andrew McCutcheon roped a line drive off Giants pitcher Ryan Vogelsong that seemed destined to land in the outfield and give the Pirates the lead, only for centre fielder Angel Pagan to swoop in from nearly 30 metres away and grab the ball out of the air. Two innings later it happened again. Same hitter, bases loaded again. This time it was right fielder Hunter Pence laying out to save another couple of runs. The Pirates ended up winning anyway, 4-3, but plays like these will keep the Giants in every game.
