Life moves pretty fast.
Mickey Harte is back in Ulster, and back in red and white, but it won’t be Tyrone that he’s in charge of, following the news that he will now take over as Derry manager.
In a world of endless possibilities, this still seemed like something that was impossible given Harte’s history with Tyrone and how he embodies the very county.
Alas, he will be in charge of their neighbours and long-time rivals Derry, but that doesn’t mean we should just forget about the good times.
Harte was in in charge of a Tyrone team in some capacity between 1991 and 2020, just under three decades of service, and during that time, they hit heights that were previously unimaginable.
