Conor McGregor v Urijah Faber, will we ever see it happen?
It's very unlikely as Faber lost his return to featherweight while McGregor is planning a move up to 155 lbs sooner rather than later depending on the outcome of his unification bout against Jose Aldo.
But it seems like the animosity between The Notorious and The California Kid shows no signs of stopping ever since the pair almost came to blows ahead of McGregor's UFC 189 fight against Faber's teammate Chad Mendes.

Faber discussed the altercation that took place outside the arena's bathroom and revealed that he and McGregor have since tried to figure out why the joking around turned into a short grappling match.
"It wasn't too serious. I don't really know what it was and I asked Conor about it and what the deal was. He said 'I don't really know,' and I'm like 'me neither.'
But Faber also claimed that something similar happened recently when he and the outspoken Dubliner were shooting for the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter.

"It actually happened yesterday too. We started giving each other crap a little bit, start testing the waters and before you know it we're in a full pushing match."Obviously there's going to be a lot of tension in the build-up but I feel like it's a fight that could definitely happen in the future so we'll all just keep our fingers crossed on that one."
