PICS: There were a fair few blunders in the unveiling of the new Reebok fight kits?

Oops

With over 500 names to take into consideration, we’d have excused one or two mistakes from Reebok when putting together the new UFC fight kits.

We’d never have imagined the clusterfuck that actually occurred with wrong nationalities, misplaced nicknames and misspelled names at every turn.

At the search page, you’re met with Connor McGregor and George St-Pierre.

And we all know Ronda “Rowdy” Rousey, the alter-ego of “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey.

In terms of incorrect nationalities being associated with fighters, we’ve found Cyprus’ Costas Philippou, Colorado-born Benson Henderson and California’s own Francisco Rivera.

In terms of the misspelled names, we’ve got Gilbert Melendez, Matt Hughes and Phillip Brooks.

Reebok also used some fighters’ full names despite the fact that they’ve never been referred to as that in their fighting career. Like Mitch Gagnon, Tom Lawlor, Bec Rawlings, TJ Grant, Matt Wiman, Jimy Hetes, Masio Rodriguez and Rob Whiteford.

There are also some incomprehensible decisions with Cub Swanson being referred to as Kevin, Ronaldo Souza’s nickname being mixed up with his first name while Marion Reneau, Lyoto Machida and Gleison Tibau all took a bizarre edit.

And you have to feel for poor Germaine de Randamie who was strangely categorized in the men’s section.
