Ed Sheeran and Conor McGregor don't have a whole lot in common other than tattoos.

But the Thinking Out Loud singer has revealed that he's a huge fan of The Notorious at a press conference ahead of his sell-out weekend in Croke Park. Sheeran also claimed that he would be delighted to perform a walkout tune for McGregor in the same way that Sinéad O'Connor did at UFC 189. https://youtu.be/66GNag13xR4 Unless Ed is able to blow the doors off The Foggy Dew or rap the intro to Notorious B.I.G. then there's not a huge chance that that's going to happen but the fact that one of the biggest pop stars in the world is a fan of McGregor shows just how popular the interim featherweight champion is.
