Ed Sheeran and Conor McGregor don’t have a whole lot in common other than tattoos.
But the Thinking Out Loud singer has revealed that he’s a huge fan of The Notorious at a press conference ahead of his sell-out weekend in Croke Park.

Sheeran also claimed that he would be delighted to perform a walkout tune for McGregor in the same way that Sinéad O’Connor did at UFC 189.
Unless Ed is able to blow the doors off The Foggy Dew or rap the intro to Notorious B.I.G. then there’s not a huge chance that that’s going to happen but the fact that one of the biggest pop stars in the world is a fan of McGregor shows just how popular the interim featherweight champion is.
