Just another clip to add to the highlight reel for Jack Kennedy.

Things have been going very well for teenage wonder from the Kingdom lately. The 17-year-old Kerry jockey reached 51 winners for the season on Sunday when he rode a race to perfection on Gordon Elliot's Ball D'Arc in the Dan Moore Memorial Handicap Chase at Fairyhouse. It was a double for Kennedy and trainer, Elliot, as Barra won the opening maiden earlier that day. Kennedy was looking to continue his fine form at Thursday's 1.45pm Matty Ryan Memorial Handicap Hurdle in Thurles. The youngster was riding the Elliot-trained, Bilko. However disaster struck for Bilko when the horse failed to clear the hurdle and stumbled as a result in what was described as a "desperate mistake" by the commentator. Kennedy was launched from his saddle as result and could be seen hanging off the side of the horse with both legs in the air. Kennedy showed excellent strength and determination to get back up on the horse while it was still running.
