To quote the great Bill Hicks, 'We have never seen balls of this magnitude'. Rickie Fowler turned in one of the great finishes in PGA Tour history at last night's Players Championship in Florida, finishing birdie, eagle, birdie, birdie to earn a place in a play-off and then making birdie twice more at the famous island green on the 17th to emerge victorious against American Kevin Kisner and Spain's Sergio Garcia. The 17th has claimed more than its fair share of nervous victims over the years, so for Fowler to birdie it three times in the space of a couple of hours under that type of pressure....?
