WATCH: Two camogie clubs battle it out for the top prize in the Liberty Insurance Squad Goals Challenge

SportsJOE

If you are going to Sunday’s Liberty Insurance Senior Camogie Final between Cork and Kilkenny then you are in for a treat.

Earlier this summer, along with our friends at Liberty Insurance, we asked you to send in clips of your skills for the Camogie Squad Goals Challenge to be in with a chance of winning €5,000 for your local club.

The response was overwhelming – there are some seriously talented camogie players out there – but after much debate we managed to whittle down the entries to a top five.

You can see all top five entries right here.

Over the past two months Liberty Insurance have travelled to each of the clubs who made it to this elite group of five to set them a new challenge to see who would make it to the final two.

The challenge entailed each club trying to score as many points on the Squad Goals Wall and some of the highlights of that challenge are available to see in this video.

At the end of that tough challenge two teams were left standing: St. Lachtain’s from Kilkenny and Castleknock Camogie Club from Dublin.

And if you are going to Sunday’s Liberty Insurance Senior Camogie Final between Cork and Kilkenny then you are in for a treat. Both St. Lachtain’s and Castleknock Camogie Club will be on the pitch at half-time competing for the top prize in the Squad Goals Challenge Final.

The winner will take home €5,000 for their club while the runner-up will claim €1,000.

Best of luck to all involved. #SupportHerSport
