Video: CORK HURLING SELECTORS, GET TO PÁIRC UÍ RINN NOW AND SIGN THIS LAD UP

If you're good enough, you're old enough

Patrick McCarry

Cork Waterford hurling may have found another goal-scoring machine.

The Rebels’ hurling team are taking on Dublin in the Allianz Hurling Leagues semi final, on April 19, and could do worse than throwing this wee sharp-shooter on the bench.

Jimmy Barry Murphy’s men have scored nine goals in seven league matches so far but this young hurler, who dead-eyes a camera on the run, would be a handy option.

The footage was captured on a Go-Pro camera a couple of weeks ago so we are sure stewards eventually hooshed the lad off the pitch and out of the ground. JBM and his selectors need only to place another camera in their goal to attract him back to Christy Ring Park.

UPDATE: It appears that the young man in question is actually the younger brother of Waterford star Austin Gleeson.
