We’ve been here before.
Last summer hurling was shown on Sky Sports for the first time, and English viewers’ reaction was a mixture of curious fascination, excitement, and confusion, but most were impressed by the unique game.
Now the fastest field game in the world has made its way across the Atlantic Ocean, and into the living rooms of Canadian sport fans.
Canadian broadcasters Sportsnet last night screened a replay of Kilkenny vs Wexford in the Leinster semi-final, and the reaction was predictable, if entertaining.
