We hope you got through those dark first days of 2017 without us.

The GAA Hour is back with a bang. SportsJOE GAA editor Colm Parkinson is joined by Conan Doherty and Mikey Stafford to look at the biggest stories of the week.

Player contracts, media bans, managers moaning about rules and the hard-done by club player… yep, 2017 is shaping up nicely.

Wooly headed along to the Club Players Association launch to chat to founder Declan Brennan and Wexford hurling legend Liam Griffin about the new body’s efforts to tackle the fixtures mess.

Don’t worry, outside of a five-year-old anecdote from Wooly, the pre-season tournaments are largely ignored.
