Kerry instantly stronger after making one change for replay against Mayo

Winner marches on

Patrick McCarry

This will make it even trickier for Mayo.

Kerry are the first of the two counties to name their starting 15 for Saturday’s All-Ireland semi final replay.

Eamon Fitzmaurice has only made one change to the team that drew 2-14 to 2-14 with Mayo and it sees Donnchadh Walsh return to the half forward line.

That means Michael Geaney not only misses out on the starting team but the entire matchday panel as he is listed as injured.

The Kingdom’s half forward line were dragged out of position by the marauding likes of Keith Higgins and Colm Boyle, leaving the likes of Paul Geaney and James O’Donoghue to come out the field looking for possession.

Fitzmaurice will be delighted that his half forward line has the composed, skillful and experienced Walsh back and fully fit again.
