Kerry name their starting XV to face Clare

There are five changes from the League final win over Dublin

Former Footballer of the Year James O’Donoghue has been named in Kerry’s team for Sunday’s Munster Football Final against Clare.

O’Donoghue, whose only championship appearance last season came in the win over Clare is selected at corner forward and is a direct replacement for Jack Savage from their League final winning team.

Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice has made five changes from the League final win over Dublin.

Brian Kelly replaces Brendan Kealy in goals to make his first competitive start for the Kingdom since their League defeat of Mayo in February.

Shane Enright has recovered from injury and he replaces Ronan Shanahan at corner back, while Anthony Maher takes over from Jack Barry in the middle of the field.

Barry John Keane has been named to start at corner forward with Johnathan Lyne missing out.

Fionn Fitzgerald will captain the team from corner back.

Johnny Buckley returns to the match day panel and is included among the substitutes, while Killian Young and Tom O’Sullivan will miss out due to injury.

Clare are yet to name their team.
