In honour of the World Games we want to know where is the farthest flung place you’ve played GAA?

We want to hear your globe-trotting adventures

The GAA World Games get underway on Thursday in Abu Dhabi.

We’ve already looked at the fine array of kits that will be on display, but in honour of this great event we want to hear your tales of the weird and wonderful places you’ve played Gaelic football or hurling across the globe.

It can be a remote exotic beach or at the top of a snow-tipped mountain. It can be an organised game or just a quick knockabout – anywhere where an O’Neill’s ball or a hurl and sliotar has appeared is enough to qualify.

Just send details of how the game came about as well as pictures (if you have them) to [email protected] and we’ll publish the weirdest and most wonderful.
