Geoff Shreeves pulled a Steve Harvey today following Manchester United’s draw with Chelsea.
American comedian Harvey went viral when he mistakenly named the winner of the 2015 Miss Universe pageant, only noticing he’d read the cards wrong after he in-correctly crowned the winner.
While Shreeves didn’t make such a high profile error today, he did momentarily award the Man of the Match to the wrong player.
The Sky Sports touchline reporter handed the award to Juan Mata, to present to his teammate Jesse Lingaard.
However, it turned out it was Mata who’d won the award.

However, this is still our favourite Man of the Match award blunder. After a game last season, Poor Mathieu Flamini thought he, and not Alexis Sanchez, had won the award.
