Want to see a bicycle kick equaliser from a goalkeeper? Of course you do

We've never seen anything like it

Tom Victor

The name Oscarine Masuluke might not mean much to you now, but once you’ve read this article you’ll understand why you’ll be hearing more of his name.

The Baroka FC goalkeeper came up for a corner with the South African team trailing Orlando Pirates by a goal to nil deep into stoppage time.

Now, we’ve all seen a keeper find the net before, be it Mart Poom’s bullet header or Jimmy Glass’ safety-saving strike. Even Brad Friedel got among the goals once during his long Premier League career.

But we’ve never seen a keeper find the net with a bicycle kick from the edge of the box.

Until now.

We’ve been trying to work out what’s more impressive, the goal or the celebration.

But after a while we came to our senses. It’s obviously the goal.

Any player scoring a bicycle kick is impressive.

Any player scoring a bicycle kick from that distance is even more impressive.

Any player scoring a bicycle kick from that distance with 95 minutes on the clock is as ballsy as they come.

Oh, and did we mention that he’s a goalkeeper? Oh, we did? Well let us mention it again.

Simply unbelievable.
