This isn’t the first time Demba Ba has scored due to a slip.
The Besiktas striker scored a bizarre, but hilarious goal earlier today. Ba was sent clear through on goal in his side’s Turkish league game against Mersin. The goalkeeper saved the strike with his feet, Ba fell to the ground, but the ball rebounded off the striker’s backside and floated perfectly into the net.
The striker was oblivious to what had happened until he got back to his feet, but his ridiculous goal won the game 2-1. It’s definitely better to be lucky than good.
