Step forward Bobby Adekanye, the teenager born in Nigeria but raised in Holland who is the most exciting talent Liverpool have snaffled from La Masia since Daniel ‘The Killer’ Pacheco.
We’re sure someone is calling Adekanye ‘the new somebody’ but we haven’t the foggiest who, nor have we ever seen him play, but he looks pretty good in his showreel, but then so do most players.
Adekanye will move as a free agent after Liverpool took advantage of a dispute between Barca and Fifa over how the Catalans signed the player from Ajaz four years ago.
Only time will tell if he turns out to be half as good as Pacheco.
