This lad probably had the best day of his life yesterday.
Dhananjay Yadav won a Facebook competition to find Atletico Madrid’s biggest fan in India, with the prize being tickets for yesterday’s Madrid derby at the Vicente Calderon. We’re not how much competition Yadav had for the title, but he looks like he had the best day of his life.
Not only did Yadav go on a tour of the museum, get to meet the club president and various players, he witnessed Atletico’s amazing 4-0 win over Real. On top of an already unforgettable day, the Atletico superfan got to meet his favourite player Fernando Torres.
‘He’s my idol. I might just cry. I feel amazed. I still can’t explain it. It’s amazing,’ Yadav said.
He’s as happy to see Torres as Chelsea fans were to see him go.
