As far as transfer deadline days go, it’s been a quiet one at the Emirates.
With Mathieu Debuchy’s departure to Bordeaux the only real movement involving Arsenal, the Sky Sports News reporter at the Emirates Stadium was in virtual isolation.
In fact, as the seconds ticked away towards the deadline, the only thing worth discussing at Arsenal was the fact that a fox had made its way on to the dimly-lit Emirates pitch – and appeared to be having the time of its life.
