There were scary scenes during Bayern Munich's preseason friendly win over RB Leipzig yesterday.
Germany star Jamal Musiala collapsed due to the intense heat at the Allianz Arena in Munich, after looking disorientated.
It was around 33 degrees when the 23-year-old appeared to have fainted, with teammate Ismael Saibari thankfully recognising the danger, and catching him before he could hit the ground at full force.
The incident occurred in the closing stages of the game, just minutes after Musiala had wrapped up a 3-1 win in the 81st minute.
The signs were good however, and he was able to walk off the pitch after being attended to by medical staff.
Following the game, Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl gave further good news.
He said: "The most important thing, he's doing well!"
