Toronto FC apologise after banner depicting sex act is waved in crowd

Homefootball

We all love a bit of passion from supporters but when there are kids at games, perhaps this a step or two too far.

MLS side Toronto FC have issued an apology to rivals Montreal Impact after a banner depicting a sex act was waved by supporters during a game at the weekend. https://twitter.com/blackbetty07/status/769716881225834500?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw The Impact came out on top in the tie but many fans attending the match with young children were upset by the graphic nature of a large sign in the crowd. Pictures of the banner, seemingly showing a woman on her knees performing a sex act on a man with the caption 'Montreal Vous Sucez' which translates to 'Montreal, you suck', soon made it to Twitter and its content has prompted Toronto to release the below statement, in which they request assistance in identifying the fan to whom it belongs. https://twitter.com/torontofc/status/770266732476899329 Given the footage of the game that exists, we trust it won't be long before the offending supporter is pinpointed.
