If you played football as a kid, you’ll know the rules were slightly different.

Horror tackles were shaken off as part of the game, but there was zero tolerance of swearing or a failure to respect your elders.

Then again, it was really tough to land yourself a suspension – you’d have to do a lot wrong. And American teenager Brian Garruto did a lot wrong.

We’re not sure what our favourite part of this is. At the moment it’s probably a tie between ‘wearing cowboy hat during game’ and ‘pretending to shoot bow and arrow at opposing players after scoring’.
