Here’s extra incentive, if any was needed, to keep an eye on Hull City v Brighton and Hove Albion tomorrow.

Richie Towell looks set to make his debut for Brighton in the FA Cup this weekend.

The former Dundalk player, who recently signed for the Championship side, has received international clearance, a squad number and was put up for media duty today, suggesting he’ll make an appearance at the KC Stadium tomorrow.

Towell will wear the number 29 jersey for the Seagulls and told BBC Sussex that he’s rearing to go.

“I can’t wait,” the 24 year old said this afternoon.

“Obviously I signed a couple of weeks ago, and it’s been frustrating not to play. Training with the lads has been great, but nothing quite beats playing football and that’s what I’m here to do.”Richie Towell celebrates 30/10/2015Towell also revealed that despite playing a full season with Dundalk, which included games in Europe and a successful FAI Cup run, he continued to train despite being allocated time off by Brighton boss Chris Hughton.

Hull v Brighton will be worth keeping an eye on during Match of the Day tomorrow night.
