Thierry Henry has said that Paul Scholes is the best Premier League player of the last 15 years.
The former Arsenal striker was on Sky News this afternoon, discussing a range of topics. Interviewer Kay Burley asked Henry who was the best player in England's top flight over the past 15 years, and had no hesitation in naming Scholes.
Henry said he chose the former Manchester United midfielder because he "didn't get the credit he deserved."
"He was one of the best, if not the best, that I played against. He could do everything. But unfortunately for him, when he was playing for the national team, people didn’t see it like that."
"If I had a Paul Scholes in my team, everything would be around him."
The Scholes chat begins at 10.37, and is worth watching alone for Burley mistakenly calling Henry 'Arsene'.
