We didn’t think we could be any more in awe of Stephanie Roche until we attempted to recreate her wonder goal
The Irish striker will find out on Monday if she has held off goal-scoring competition from Robin van Persie and James Rodriguez to win the 2015 Puskás Award. Voting remains open for the FIFA ‘best goal’ competition and Roche has a good chance of capturing the award.
SportsJOE decided we would attempt to recreate goals from the three finalists so we arrived at work with balls in hand and paid a visit to the five-a-side pitch across the road. Here is the very best we could do:
