Video: South Korean goalkeeper comes up with sneaky way to make opponent miss penalty

Sneaky, very sneaky

Robert Redmond

Is this blatant cheating?

Or just some ‘creative’ goalkeeping? Either way, Lee Bum-young’s sneaky tactics pay off. The Busan Ipark keeper, who plays in the South Korea’s K League, conceded a penalty and some of their players went to protest with the referee.

However, Young-bum, (stop sniggering), begins stamping the penalty spot and really digs into the turf with his boots. Guess what happens next.

Exactly, the penalty is skied over, the taker looks back in shock at the penalty spot and Young-bum is a hero/evil genius. One Busan player even runs over to the tampered penalty spot and pumps his fists in delight.
