Over the weekend, it was reported that the Manchester United board had decided that Ryan Giggs should be the man to replace Louis van Gaal if he leaves at the end of the season.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid's reluctance to put his trust in youth is said to be the sticking point of United's cabal of wise men. Men who are so clued into what is right for Manchester United that they thought David Moyes was the best man to replace Sir Alex Ferguson.
