If you’re not familiar with Olamide Shodipo, don’t worry – there’s a good chance you might be hearing more of him in the years to come.
The 19-year-old signed a professional contract with QPR at the back end of last season and, despite his tender years, he’s already shown enough to get himself one of those ‘best bits’ YouTube videos.
If you managed to tolerate the music that accompanies the video above, you’ll see that young Mide is quite a talent and isn’t exactly left wanting in the skills department. But, as the following Instagram post shows, even someone as talented as him is capable of making a right tit of himself when attempting to showboat.
Posted by his club-mate Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, it shows the moment that Mide – in Holland as part of QPR’s pre-season – fell flat on his arse when attempting to demonstrate his skills. Not only did his teammates find it utterly hilarious, but it was also caught on camera.
Unlucky Mide. Maybe wait until you’ve got a full pre-season under your belt before you try it again.
