It’s finally over. We can stop speculating. Paul Pogba is a Manchester United player once more. We can move on with our lives.
The Frenchman’s return to Old Trafford was confirmed by the Premier League Club in the early hours of the morning, though Stormzy and some laundry women several hours earlier.
In his first interview, Pogba said: “I am delighted to rejoin United. It has always been a club with a special place in my heart and I am really looking forward to working with José Mourinho.”
There has been plenty of speculation as to why the deal took so long to be announced.
I understand the delay in the Pogba transfer was due to him twice failing the Just Gets It test.
He finally passed it late last night.

So has all this delay in @ManUtd signing Pogba purely been because of the filming of the frankly ridiculous video with Stormzy? Sort it out.

But does it really matter when it was made official?
They could have confirmed Pogba at 4am on The Moon. Who cares? #MUFC #POGBACK

The world record transfer fee was put into context. Well, we say context.
Other things Man Utd could have spent the Pogba money on:
5 Lear Jets or …
52 Ferrari F60s or …
A Picasso and a Monet or …

As was the amount going the way of Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola.

But could we find ourselves looking back at the deal years down the line and deeming it outstanding value?

Pogba’s decision to opt against Champions League football was a big talking point…
How Mourinho convinced Ibrahimovic and Pogba to give up Champions League football to play in the Europa league will forever remain a mistery

And attention soon turned to what will happen to a certain other Manchester United player.

There’s a new acronym to rival BBC and MSN, because that’s what modern football is all about.
Forget Barcelona's MSN or Real Madrid's BBC. Man united got RIP- Rooney, Ibra, Pogba. #MUFC #pogback 😁😀🙌 EPL here we come
— Ahmad (@ahmad__u_) August 9, 2016
Anyway, won’t someone think of the fantasy football managers?

Actually, this is a good point
Wait until Zlatan finds out Pogba got a fucking music video.

But the important thing is that it’s done.
Pogba is back. The #MUFC wallet is €104m lighter and Jose Mourinho is absolutely buzzing… #Pogbackhttps://t.co/KFnl2QS7TY
