Paris Saint-Germain are set to drop Phil Collins…no, really

Change

There’s been plenty of changes at the Parc des Princes in recent times.

Qatari investment has transformed Paris Saint-Germain into one of the world’s most exciting teams, with the squad completely overhauled in the process.

But it seems that it’s not just the playing staff that’s changing for PSG…

For over two decades, the French champions have run out to Who Said I Would?, from Phil Collins’ 1985 album No Jacket Required.

But now, it seems that Phil could be given the boot.

In the wake of the terrorist attacks in the French capital, PSG switched to O Ville Lumiere (City of Light). The song has continued to be played for every home game since, and the club are now considering making the change a permanent one.

While the switch is a moving tribute, some PSG supporters would reportedly prefer to revert to the Phil Collins song, according to France Football.

A final decision is expected to be made next month.
