Real Madrid might not beat Barcelona to La Liga glory this season, but they’re desperate to end the season as top scorers.
A home meeting with high-flying Celta Vigo could have been a potential banana skin for other teams, but a Cristiano Ronaldo-inspired Madrid side destroyed their opponents 7-1.
Ronaldo now has 27 league goals this season, two ahead of nearest challenger Luis Suarez,.
And he has 39 in all competitions, after Champions League hat-tricks against Shakhtar and Malmo helped pad out his total.
But when it comes to La Liga, the Portuguese clearly likes playing against two teams in particular.

Cast your mind back to mid-September, and you’ll recall a Madrid side still managed by Rafa Benitez putting six past Espanyol away from home.
Ronaldo scored five that day, and added another three against the same opponent as the 6-0 away scoreline was replicated at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
He only scored once in the 3-1 victory in Vigo in October, but he made up for lost time this week with a four-goal haul against Eduardo Berizzo’s team.
To put the achievement into context, Ronaldo has scored more in those four games against Celta Vigo and Espanyol than any Celta Vigo or Espanyol player has scored in nearly 30 outings this season.
