Marcus Rashford’s goal celebration for Manchester United has been explained

What a debut

Robert Redmond

Marcus Rashford rushed straight to his friend upon scoring for Manchester United.

The 18 year old only started the game because Anthony Martial injured himself in the warm-up prior to United’s Europa League tie against FC Midtjylland, but had a dream debut.

Rashford, who scored twice in United’s 5-1 win over the Danish side, made a beeline to the section of Old Trafford crowd where players’ friends and family members sit and was embraced by Dean Henderson.

Henderson is a United youth team goalkeeper, who was on the bench for the first-team just days before for the FA Cup tie against Shrewsbury, and posted a video of the moment on his Instagram page.

You can see he’s clearly delighted for his friend.

Go on Marcus lad!!❤️⚽️
